Reticulated “chrome” cerussite from the Dundas Extended Mine, Dundas, Tasmania. Cerussite is a lead carbonate mineral. This yellow form was originally thought to have been coloured by trace amounts of chromium. The actual specimen is 12mm wide. Completed in 4 hours in Procreate.
I managed to complete this artwork today. Not sure that the colours are showing up correctly as I used my iPhone in poor light. I will retake when I get chance.
